How We Build

We take full
responsibility for
every piece we sell.

You're considering spending a significant amount of money with us. That deserves a straight answer about how we work.

We are a small company based in Zurich. We don't produce hundreds of safes a year. We design every piece ourselves, specify every material, and check every unit before it reaches you.

Production is carried out by specialist workshops we've worked with closely — chosen because they can meet our specifications, not the other way around. We define the standards. They execute them.

If a piece doesn't pass our inspection, it doesn't ship. Simple as that. And if something goes wrong after delivery — that's on us, for 10 years.

The Process

What happens between
"I'm interested" and delivery

Step 01

We talk first. No catalogue, no pressure.

Every project starts with a private conversation — on the phone, via video, or in person in Zurich. We want to understand your collection, your space, and what you actually need.

This call is free, takes 30 minutes, and has no obligation attached to it. We'd rather spend that time and have you decide we're not the right fit than rush you into something wrong.

Step 02

Designed in Zurich. Every dimension, every detail.

Once we understand what you need, our team in Zurich designs the piece. That means exact technical drawings, material specifications, colour selections, interior layout — everything written down and agreed before a single component is produced.

You receive a detailed proposal to review and approve. Nothing proceeds until you're happy with the plan.

Step 03

Built to our specification. Not theirs.

Production is carried out by specialist workshops we have selected and worked with over years. These are skilled craftsmen — and they build our pieces according to our specification sheets, not to a general standard.

The steel grade, the leather quality, the lock mechanism, the stitching depth — every decision was made in Zurich before it reached the workshop floor.

Step 04

We check it ourselves before it reaches you.

Before shipping, every unit goes through a structured quality inspection: surface finishes, leather quality, lock operation, drawer movement, winder calibration, LED lighting. Not a quick look — a real check against a checklist.

Pieces that don't pass go back. We've sent units back. We'll do it again if needed.

Step 05

Delivered — and set up if you want us to.

Standard delivery brings your piece safely to your door. On request, we can arrange installation in your home — positioning, anchoring, watch winder calibration, and a full personal handover. Just let us know at the time of order.

Either way, our service line stays open afterwards. You can always reach us.

Materials

What's actually inside the price

Not "premium leather" — the specific grade, why we chose it, and what it means for you.

Full-grain leather lining

Not split leather. Not bonded. Full-grain — the top layer of the hide, with the natural grain intact. It's softer, more durable, and ages well. We select it by hand for consistency of grain and feel.

Cold-rolled steel body

The structure of a Kronberg safe is built to EN 1143-1 standards — the European burglary resistance norm. The steel grade, plate thickness, and weld quality are specified in writing and tested. It's a vault, not a cabinet.

Securam-certified lock

We use certified lock systems — including Securam — which are independently rated and tested. The electronic locks have drill protection, tamper alerts, and audit trail capability. We don't use generic locks.

Bi-directional winder motors

Ultra-quiet motors with programmable TPD (turns per day) — set correctly for each movement in your collection. Running 24/7 with vibration levels that won't disturb sensitive automatic movements.

3000K museum-grade LED

Warm, non-UV light at 3000 Kelvin — the same colour temperature used in museums to show objects accurately without accelerating ageing of leather or textiles. Dimmable. No flicker.

Anti-reflective tempered glass

Where glass is used, it's tempered and anti-reflective — optically clear, scratch resistant, and suitable for the thermal environment of an always-on lit cabinet. Not standard display glass.

Our Commitment

10 years. No exceptions.

Every piece we sell carries a 10-year warranty covering structural integrity, mechanical components, locking systems, and winder motors. Not a limited warranty with a list of exclusions — a real commitment that if something fails, we fix it.

We offer this because we believe in what we build. And because if we didn't, we'd find out quickly — and that's not acceptable to us.

From Our Clients

What people say after delivery

"I was sceptical about a brand I hadn't heard of. The consultation call changed that. They knew exactly what I needed and didn't oversell me anything."

— Watch collector, Geneva · Grand Cabinet Standard

"Two years in, one of the winder motors made a noise. One call, they sent a technician. No charge, no argument. That kind of service is rare."

— Private client, Zurich · Standard Safe 170

"The leather colour matched our interior exactly. I didn't think that level of customisation was possible at this price point. Every guest notices it."

— Interior designer, Munich · Bespoke commission
Honest Answers

Questions worth asking us

Where are your safes actually made?
Designed in full in Zurich — dimensions, materials, finishes, interior layout, everything. Production is carried out by specialist workshops we've worked with for years, selected for their technical precision and ability to meet our specifications. We conduct quality checks on every piece before it ships. Swiss design. Exacting standards. Accountability stays with us.
What happens if something breaks after delivery?
Call us. Every piece carries a 10-year warranty. We repair or replace the affected component — lock, motor, hinge, leather, anything structural — at no cost. We've honoured this. We'll continue to.
How long does a custom order take?
Typically 8 to 14 weeks from signed order to delivery, depending on specification complexity and current production schedule. We give you an honest lead time at the proposal stage — not an optimistic one.
Can I see a piece before buying?
Yes. We can arrange a viewing of a current or recently completed piece for qualified clients. This is done discreetly and by appointment. Ask us during your consultation and we'll organise it.
What if I change my mind about a configuration detail partway through?
We try to accommodate changes before production begins — which is why we take time getting the specification right upfront. Once production starts, major changes may affect lead time or cost. We'll always tell you honestly before proceeding.
